TFT Alumni Follow Up Projects

The objective of the Training for Trusteeship workshops are to inspire youth to do what they can as individuals and future leaders to change the country for the better by working across the cultural, religious, disciplinary and institutional divide in serving their communities. The participants of this workshop received insights as to how they could work together and were encouraged to initiate projects within their capacity so as to bring about a positive change in our society.

In light of this a number of follow up project proposals were drawn up bu the TFT Alumni (which included participants from previous years workshops). From December to  February, all project teams spend long hours planning and preparing their projects with the WICPER staff.

In selecting the projects, the following guidelines were followed

  • The team members should comprise persons from different ethnic, religious, and institutional backgrounds
  • The projects selected should also have a sustainable element, thus ensuring the continuance of the work, even after the initial project (s) draws a conclusion
